- About three or four times a year, give your rubber roof a good coat of rubber roof cleaner and sealant. These solutions will help keep your roof surface from spotting and mildew. It will also discourage dirt and debris from sticking.
- If you live in an area which receives rainfall regularly, you will need to sweep leaves and other materials that have settled on your roof. This should be done every few weeks, so that mildew will not get a chance to multiply.

Chalking is a natural process and nothing to worry about. If the appearance bothers you, a good scrubbing with soap and water will take it right off.
